Francesca Michielin cancella date tour per necessità di recupero.

Francesca Michielin Cancels Remaining Summer Tour Dates
Francesca Michielin has announced, through a heartfelt Instagram post, that she will not be able to perform as planned in the near future.

“After several medical visits, the doctors have told me that I need to take more time off than initially recommended. You cannot imagine the sadness and frustration that this news has caused me,” the singer wrote on her profile. “According to them, it is not the right time for me to return to the stage, and I need a few more weeks to get back to doing my job, which allows me to connect with you and truly feel well.”

Therefore, I am here to apologize to you, and to myself, because I am forced to cancel the remaining dates of the summer tour and future commitments.”

Francesca Michielin Announces Health Problems

Last August, the renowned Italian singer-songwriter revealed her health issues through a video, which prompted her to take a temporary break from the music scene.

“I wanted to tell you in person because I feel the need to speak openly,” Francesca Michielin began a month ago in a video message on Instagram, where she has over a million fans.

“I have a health problem, and it is only fair that I undergo surgery to get better as soon as possible. The hospital has scheduled an operation for me in the coming days,” she explained back then. The operation was successful, as she herself states today, but evidently the recovery time has been extended, preventing her from concluding the tour.

She was supposed to return to the stage tomorrow, September 9th, the date on which her concert at the Ritmika Festival in Moncalieri, near Turin, was scheduled, followed by her “L’estate dei cani sciolti” tour, named after her latest album. However, today she made the bitter announcement.

“We will soon return to singing”

“In the past year, I have come to understand that we need to give dignity to our bodies and embrace them, especially in moments of ‘imperfection,’ deep insecurity, and vulnerability, even when they cannot support us as we would like,” begins the singer’s post today.

“I had to undergo a fairly invasive operation a month ago because I had no other options. As I told you, I had to pause the tour for a month in order to recover. Fortunately, the operation went very well, thanks to an excellent medical team whom I will never stop being grateful for. Although it was different from the usual, August was filled with affection, creativity, slowness, nature, and your good vibes that always came with constant care and attention from all of you.

I slowly returned to making music. While attempting my usual vocal training, I felt increasingly severe abdominal pain.”

Therefore, the doctors told her that she needs to take more time off than initially recommended: “You cannot imagine the sadness and frustration that this news has caused me. I am here to apologize to you. We will soon return to singing and living ‘without degrees of separation,’ as always in the last ten years. I love you all.”

The Canceled Dates

Thus, the concerts scheduled for September 9th at the Ritmika Festival in Moncalieri, near Turin, the one in Milan on September 10th at the Estate Castello, the one in Cuneo on September 17th at the Connessioni festival, and the final date of the summer tour on September 18th in Verona at the Festival della bellezza, have all been canceled.
